Darnell Clayton :verified:<p><span class="h-card" translate="no"><a href="https://mastodon.social/@jrm4" class="u-url mention">@<span>jrm4</span></a></span> I am seeing many from <a href="https://one.darnell.one/tags/BlackTwitter" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>BlackTwitter</span></a> using <a href="https://one.darnell.one/tags/Instagram" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>Instagram</span></a> now, the latter which has drastically improved their search. </p><p>Instagram just opened up <a href="https://one.darnell.one/tags/MetaVerified" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>MetaVerified</span></a> to the <a href="https://one.darnell.one/tags/UnitedStates" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>UnitedStates</span></a> 🇺🇸 &amp; it seems much more reasonable than <a href="https://one.darnell.one/tags/Twitter" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>Twitter</span></a>’s pay-for-checkmark approach (the price for both is very high though).</p>

However, outside of search, it&#39;s practically worthless as the algorithm is awful on Twitter now.</p><p><a href="https://one.darnell.one/tags/MetaVerified" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>MetaVerified</span></a> is a step up from Twitter Blue, but the latter is allegedly having issues verifying people&#39;s identification.</p>
